CuraScript, the nation’s largest specialty pharmacy services company, contracted PCS to design and install the multi-media AudioVisual presentation systems for the boardroom and training facility in their new headquarters in Orlando, Florida. And they wanted it to be seamlessly integrated with the building’s architecture.
The training facility had to accommodate both small and large groups. So the ability to change room configuration was necessary, as was a flexibility to provide optimum sound and projection — regardless of the size or configuration of the room.
PCS partnered with the owner and coordinated with the general contractor, Duke Construction, throughout the design and build process.
In the boardroom, hidden wiring for laptop and video equipment connections was pre-built into the custom conference table. Wireless table microphones were used in conjunction with ceiling-mounted microphones for audio conferencing, and a projector was designed to disappear into the drop ceiling.
Easy-to-use, customized and illuminated touch panels control everything from lighting to hardware. The training facility was designed as three rooms, each with its own AV system. Strategically placed floor pockets make for versatile hook-ups of temporary podiums and laptops.
PCS’ client is extremely pleased with their new state-of-the art presentation capability.
The architectural lines inside CuraScript are unencumbered by visible wiring and projection systems, and the multi-functional training facility and cutting-edge AV components will accommodate future training and technology requirements for years to come.
